Living the city life comes with some unhealthy decisions, especially with the hectic schedule and heavy workload. Use these simple steps to detox and get your body back in sync.
Read labels, stay away from processed food and be diligent about knowing which organic foods really count. A healthy plate should have a colourful variety of fruits and veggies, along with whole grains and legumes. You can even throw in small amounts of nuts and seeds.

If you want to get rid of toxins in the body, get an intense massage that focuses on the pressure points within the body – we’d recommend a meridian or Swedish massage to literally roll the stress off your shoulder.
Time to swap the French press for a tea pot. Not only is tea full of antioxidants and gentler on your system, it hydrates you (especially if it’s herbal) and fills you up. This means you’ll still get the caffeine boost in the morning without overeating throughout the day.
Sweat it out
Encourage circulation in the blood and lymph system through regular workouts. Doing so will enhance digestion, reduce tension, lubricate joints and strengthen your body while flushing out the potentially harmful substances that have built up over time.
