Another woman has taken her place as the Governer of Bank Negara Malaysia.
Datuk Nor Shamsiah Mohd Yunus has just been announced by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad as the new Governer of Bank Negara Malaysia following the retirement of Tan Sri Muhammad Ibrahim. According to Star, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had been waiting for Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s approval before making the announcement.
Since her retirement from BNM back in 2016, Nor Shamsiah has made sure to keep herself in the game by being involved in a monetary body.
