If you’re up for local food with a Western twist, Jibby & Co.’s offerings of  unique pizzas, mains and breakfast options are something worth experiencing. The (slightly spicy) Shredded Duck Pasta is the bomb, for starters, as there is deliciously tender duck topped off with sundried tomatoes that will titillate your taste buds. Also hot on our list is the Creamy Garlic Mushrooms served with Turkish bread for an indulgent starter and crispy Soft Shell Crab Burger served with tangy mayo and sweet potato fries. Some delish options are the Portobella – gooey eggs (just the way we like it) Benedict topped with baby spinach and tomatoes with the crunch of the juicy and crispy breaded Portobello mushrooms, and The Norwegian – smoky, salty salmon perched atop delicate eggs and drizzled with hollandaise, accompanied by sweet (but not too sweet) onion and capsicum confit. This up-and-coming F&B is a place you’ll want to tell your friends about the moment you dine there. We appreciate the open, bright and welcoming space and parking isn’t too difficult to find if you go a little earlier or later than the area’s lunch crowd. If you’re one for hot lunches, then the Kitchen Table is the place for you. Drool over their roast chicken, honey and thyme, carrot and beef slaw and sourdough bread, which is almost like an open sandwich – savoury, sweet and zesty all at once… yum! For dessert, save space for their French toast crunch – this scrumptious twist on french toast has cornflakes, macerated strawberries and heady gula Melaka syrup. They’re also known for their scrumptious sourdough breads too, so be sure you take some home.
