6 Healthy and Oh-So-Yummy Salad Dressings You Can Whip Up in 5 Minutes

It’s all about eating clean these days, but it doesn’t have to be as boring or unappetising as it may sound. One of the easiest meals to whip up is a salad (minimal or no cooking required!), and you can turn it into a super yummy one with the magic of dressing. Store-bought dressings may not be as health-conscious as they make it seem on the label, so why not make your own by simply tossing a few ingredients together? Whether sweet, savoury or packed with herbs, the freshness and flavours will get you addicted!

HONEY MUSTARD

This sweet, tangy dressing is a favourite among many and the good news is, it’s also one of the quickest and simplest ones you can make! It’s versatile enough to drizzle on salads, marinate meats and also use as a dipping sauce.

What you’ll need:

  • ¼ cup dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil (or any mild-flavoured oil)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Whip it up:

  1. Pour all the ingredients into a jar with a tight lid and shake until everything is combined well
  2. Place jar in the fridge and leave it for at least 30 minutes, but preferably two hours, before serving to allow the flavours to mingle
