6 Reasons Why The Home Alone Series Is My Favourite Christmas Movie That Didn’t Make Sense

If you have never heard of Kevin McCallister, what have you been doing? Home alone is the O.G. Christmas movie of almost every kid’s childhood.

To be fair, I have always wondered what it felt like to be an 8 year old home alone while my family is off on a holiday. It’s no secret to my friends and family that this movie is near and dear to my heart. I spend the time buried under the comfort of my blanket, a huge bag of chocolate (because popcorn is so basic) and my laptop playing the entire Home Alone series.

But it honestly does not make sense why someone would love a movie about a kid who was left behind. I mean, it’s an awesome Christmas movie, but let’s be honest, if we were to have a movie like this in 2017, people would be fuming and bashing the carelessness of Kevin McCallister’s parents.
