BOOST YOUR FRUIT INTAKE

If you love nothing more than a binge session with your Ben & Jerry’s, please, stop. Try an alternative icy treat by making your own. (It’s pretty quick, too!) Chop and toss some of your favourite fruits and sweet juice or cordial into a popsicle mould, freeze it, and enjoy. No time for that? Whizz some frozen berries with your juice, for a healthy low-kJ take.

DO A COUNTER POSE

Many of us spend our days sitting at a desk, which restricts our blood circulation. To combat this, lie on the floor with your legs propped up, as if you’re about to do a sit-up. Then let your knees drop to both sides, and put your arms above your head. This will open up your groin area and your shoulders, the opposite movements to what you do all day.

Depression; high blood pressure; heart attacks (the chances are there!) — you prolly already know the health risks that stress welcomes into your life, so, why so serious?
