1. HISTORY

The House of Bijan was founded in 1976 by Iranian-born designer Bijan Pakzad and its main headquarter resides in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. His experience as a menswear designer in Florence, Italy quickly expanded into jewelry, fragrances and sportswear after moving to LA in the 70s. The fashion empire was built by the founder and his life-long friend, Daryoush Mahboubi-Fardi with their mutual interest on creating an American brand name based on meticulous craftsmanship and exclusivity.

Since the opening of their first boutique on Rodeo Drive, they have been recognised and awarded by many, some of the outstanding accomplishments include being part of The Leadership Honor Roll by President George H.W. Bush in 2009, The Mayor of Beverly Hills declared May 8th “Bijan Day in the City of Beverly Hills” and honored Bijan Pakzad with the key to the city.
