Singapore seems to have it’s stamp on Kuala Lumpur’s nightlife. With the likes of super club Zouk, a new player from the Singaporean nightlife has entered the game. Cue in: Kyō.
A club originating from Cecil Street in Singapore, the house and techno club is deemed as one of the hippest clubs in Singapore. And now, it’s opened up across the shore and ready to be explored by the Kuala Lumpur-lites over at The Mandarin Oriental. #TeamCLEO had a peek of the place and rest assured we were like this:
The underground vibes of the original Kyō has followed through with it’s replica in KL, with minimalist industrial architecture and accents of Asian influences – oh and of course, a massive space for dancing the night away.
Not only has Kyō open for business but a partnering establishment right above the club in the form of a cocktail bar/lounge called Ren. Sticking with contemporary elements and stylish Asian sensibilities, it’s the perfect getaway for enjoying specially crafted cocktails on a more quiet and relaxed evening.
We can foresee this being our new playground and we can’t wait to play!
