The model-actress-designer has teamed up with global design house, Coach to create a limited edition Signature Charlie bag in honor of becoming their brand ambassador. In addition to the customised bag, the partnership will be wide ranging and include a special project with Coach Creative Director, Stuart Vevers. Mizuhara will also be featured in the brand’s Fall 2018 global advertising campaign, which will only be revealed in the coming months.
Audrie Noriko Daniel, more professionally known as Kiko Mizuhara was born in the US but moved to Japan when she was 2 years old. Mizuhara has always been a big fan of Coach, ever since she started her modelling career in 2007. When asked how she felt about working with Coach, this is what she had to say:
I am so excited to join the Coach family. I love the cool, optimistic spirit of the brand and cannot wait for my fans to connect with Coach in a more intimate way through our partnership.
Having worked closely with Coach during the design process, Mizuhara believes that the bag can be worn by anyone, disregarding age, fashion style and gender, and that they will enjoy showcasing her design on their arm. Mizuhara was inspired by outer space when it came to the design of the bag; she combined leather tea roses and semi-precious stones around a moon souvenir pin.
Unfortunately this bag is only available in selected Coach outlets in Japan for a limited time only so if you really want Kiko’s L.E. Coach bag then hop on to the next flight to Japan. Psst, if you’re going, maybe you can get us one too!
