“Of all the special joys in life, the big ones and the small, a mother’s love and tenderness, is the greatest of them all.” — Anonymous
The second Sunday of May is always an extra special one, because it’s the day we collectively celebrate our mums and/or the mothers in our lives. Technically, for all the sacrifices mothers make for us, every day should be Mothers Day.
While some may just chalk up the whole thing to just being a Hallmark holiday, Mothers Day is a great reminder to honour the main lady in your life. But not everyone has the privilege to enjoy the festivities. There are mothers who don’t have it all, yet do everything they can to make sure their child gets the best for their future. There are those who have already lost their mothers and while they cannot be together physically, celebrate the memory of their mum and the time they shared.
Whatever the situation may be, we at #TeamCLEO want to take time to dedicate this special occasion to all the Mums out there who should get all the types of appreciation on this day and beyond. We feel your love, share your joy and understand the pains as well. And we thank you.

To The Working Mum
The struggle of a working mum is unique only to her — she’s expected to work as though she has no children, and yet is also expected to raise her children as though she isn’t fully employed. The time you split never feels enough and then there’s that overwhelming guilt that you are never there or you’re missing out. Don’t give in to this guilt — your work ethic and resilience ensure the best outcome for you, your child and your futures.
