Smoothie bowls have become my favourite breakfast fix as they’re super easy to make, crazy refreshing after a workout and so darn energising! They’re all the rage nowadays but they can also be insanely pricey, no?
Do yourself a favour and raid the grocery store with all the smoothie bowl essentials that you need – making them yourself is a whole load of fun anyway!
Get an assortment of fruits, granola, nuts, yoghurt, juices and any other additions you’d like your breakfast to have.
This concoction is jampacked with the super food of ALL superfoods: ACAI BERRY.
Tip: Portion out your fruits in ziplock bags and keep them in the freezer so they are ready to go and blend if you’re in a rush!
Acai Berry-Coconut Smoothie Bowl
The smoothie consists of a blend of:
- Fresh Coconut Water and Coconut Flesh (30ml)
- Frozen Organic Mixed Berries (a handful)
- Acai Berry Powder (1 tbspn)
- Rachel’s Organic Honey Greek Yoghurt (2 tbspns)
- Raisin’ The Roof’s Orange, Cranberry & Pecan Granola Mix
- Fresh Banana Coins
- Raw Almonds
- Fresh Raspberries
- Organic Chia Seeds
Try and of your own concoctions but be sure to have a good base (usually any sort of juices will do you good) and a handful of frozen fruit of your choice!
