Beauty sleep is a form of luxury not many of us can afford. Not every single night, at least. I’ve always been a little too proud for being an easy sleeper, regardless of how uncomfortable the setting may be, it can be done ladies and gents.
The topic of insomnia is an absolute norm in my social circle, at times I get FOMO just because “can’t relate” would be my automated response. Until the past few weeks happened, and I’ve suddenly started struggling to snooze. Even when I do finally sleep, I’ll wake up feeling uneasy and not fully rested. Being fully dependent on caffeine, I had to find a way to fix it. To help induce sleep, below are the 3 simple steps I’ve compiled into a routine.
I know we’re all guilty of having the tendency to gravitate towards scrolling to the end of our Instagram feed before bed but placing your phone aside can result in better sleep. Instead, try and listen to a podcast. Preferably on a light and easy topic, skip the world conspiracy theories.
