The Raya season is upon us (did Ramadan just pass by in a flash, or what?) and amidst all the festivities this year, a great deal of our time will be spent with our eyes glued to the screens either watching a live match or catching up on what we've missed during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in its hosting country, Russia from June 14th to July 15th.
The opening ceremony will be happening tonight, June 14th at 9PM Malaysian time before the first match kicks off in Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow at 11PM where the host country will play against Saudi Arabia.

Confirmed by the recently appointed Communications and Multimedia Minister, Gobind Singh Deo, RTM will be airing 41 matches including the quarterfinals, semifinals and final match (28 live and 13 delayed) across TV1 and TV2 nationwide for FREE!
There were a lot of rumours revolving around the sponsors responsible for RTM’s FIFA World Cup coverage and they’ve announced Maxis as the platinum sponsor and AirAsia as the gold sponsor which makes up to about RM30 million needed to air the event.
