Dolce & Gabbana AW17 show was one filled with some serious millennial revelry. For the Autumn/Winter 2017 collection at Milan Men’s Fashion Week, the Italian brand invited no less than 49 influencers from social media stars, bloggers, vloggers, personalities and everything in between to strut their stuff on the catwalk.
And it’s no wonder that they’ve gotten New Age celebrities to takeover the catwalk with their #DGMillenials campaign.
“These are the new generation, we liked the idea of adding ordinary people who have become famous thanks to the web.” – Gabbana
Amongst the ‘ordinary people’ of the ‘new generation’ were Internet royalty, Cameron Dallas and Brit blogging sensation, Jim Chapman. Along to walk the catwalk included rapper Tinie Tempah, Presley Gerber – son of Cindy Crawford, Rafferty Law – son of Jude Law and model Jack Guinness.
The designers added the glorious ceremony with a street-edged element – some of the biggest viral stars these days are after all found on the street style parades outside fashion shows.
The clothes showcased on the digital deities were fit even for the most demanding and dandyish of princes.
