A frequent trip to the nail parlour can build up to a costly outcome.
You know you can do it yourself at home but you prefer an expert to get your nails done. Learn a new skill and be capable of fixing a chipped nail and have your nails on fleck whenever you need them to be.
Take by this step-by-step guide to manage your mani in literally, minutes:

1. SOAK, CLEAN AND PUSH
Start off with a clear canvas by soaking your hands in olive oil to nourish the skin.
Next, massage cuticle oil around your nails. Then use a cuticle pusher to push the cuticles back gently.
2. GET IN SHAPE
This season, it’s all about the almond shape. Trim your nails, then file each nail in one direction, towards the tip. Don’t file the corners as they give strength to the nail. Buff and polish the nail bed in a circular motion.
3. POLISH UP
Now for the base coat. This gives the polish a smooth surface to adhere to. Begin at the nail base and apply with three strokes — one up the centre and one on each side. Steadily bring the brush over and under the tips.
4. HANG ONTO YOUR HUE
For the ultimate shine, apply a final layer of top coat to lock in colour and prevent chips. Can’t stay in the lines? Dab a cotton bud with nail polish remover to get rid of any tell-tale signs.
