Ivan Alexander, 24, Legal Assistant
What’s your fondest childhood memory?
The first time I performed in front of a huge crowd. The sense of belonging and ease are unlike everything else I’ve felt in my life.
Who is the biggest influence in your life?
My dad, definitely. He’s a living example of what hard work and perseverance can make out of you.
Given a million dollars on the spot, what would be the first thing you buy?
I’d want to start up a foundation for the needy and homeless and another philanthropy arm focusing on education for the young.
What is your biggest life goal right now?
I’m working on being completely comfortable with who I am and becoming a better individual physically, mentally and spiritually.
If your partner says “get me anything” at an ice cream parlour, what would you get them?
I’d get her a little bit of everything, because guess what, I could be just as indecisive sometimes!
“Society could do better by…”
By being their true, genuine self. We have become almost robotic in our emotions and thoughts, just because we’re afraid of judgements.
