Is it just me or do you guys go through bottles and bottles of toner faster than Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s relationship? Too soon? Ok.
Seriously though, sometimes I try to pace myself with my all-time favourite toner which is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. It leaves my skin feeling so fresh and hydrated that I feel confident enough to go out without make-up. At the end of the night, I pat it down nicely on my skin to let it seep in my skin all night-long. Thus, clearly you can understand now how my poor man’s Bioderma experience has ruined my spending power. So I went on an excursion to find a cheaper and perhaps even a better alternative using all-natural ingredients that won’t strip my face off.
If you’re like me and you’re trying to splurge on other things you’ve got planned ahead, switching up to a DIY substitute can help you out!
Remember to road-test these first before using it daily, you never know what you’re allergic to!
Wild Rose Water
A natural astringent which helps tighten the skin and reduce redness and inflammation. You can use this to spritz on your face throughout the day, leaving a beautiful scent behind. Find the recipe here.
Apple Cider Vinegar Toner
This can be done with 2-ingredients! If you’ve experienced bad results on your skin from harsh chemicals in store-bought products, you should try this one out.
Herb-Infused Grapefruit Face Toner
Incorporate fruits, in everything you do. There’s two variations to this recipe – one for dry skin and one for oily/combination skin.
