No More Fur For Gucci From 2018 Onwards And We’re Stoked

Gucci will be joining the anti-fur ranks, starting Spring 2018. The renowned Italian fashion house is the latest to jump on the bandwagon, following fellow big names Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Stella McCartney.

At Kering Talk, held at the London College of Fashion two days ago, Gucci’s president and CEO Marco Bizzarri revealed their move in joining the Fur Free Alliance, which was wholeheartedly supported by The Humane Society. As such, Gucci would be organising a charity auction of their remaining animal fur items where the proceeds would be donated to LAV and The Humane Society.

What are your thoughts on these anti-fur sentiments? As for #TeamCLEO, we really hope that more fashion labels will follow suit in the near future.
