It’s no ordinary stay at citizenM, which has just opened its doors in Kuala Lumpur, as this hotel raises eyebrows with its hi-tech features. If you haven’t heard already, it is a Dutch chain affordable luxury boutique hotel that is prized for its contemporary designs and smart technology.

Following its opening here in KL, #TeamCLEO decided to visit the place to witness the hotel’s wonders for ourselves. Well, what do you know? The Gasthaus blew us away and here are the reasons why this hotel is totally #worth it.

Holidays should be fun and we shouldn’t be wasting our time waiting in lines after a long journey. That means steering away from crowds, eschewing touristy spots and in this case avoiding peak hours for faster check-ins.

We love how citizenM understands all that and makes the effort to speed up the whole process with self-check-in/out kiosks. All you have to do is fill in your details, authenticate your ID, then activate your room card. So simple!
