Time to take full advantage of the 0% GST, peeps!
It has been just over a month since Tun Dr. Mahathir was sworn in as Malaysia's Prime Minister and one of his promises was to reduce our 6% GST and effective 1st June 2018, all stores (affected by GST) had slashed down their prices. Amagad think of all the bargains!
However, there have been reports that SST (Sales and Services Tax) will most likely be introduced in September 2018. According to the Star, Finance Minister, Lim Guan Eng has mentioned that replacing the Goods and Services Tax (GST) with the Sales and Services Tax (SST) will return RM17bil to Malaysians, even as he announced a slew of cost of living measures.
