The Golden Globes are upon us and as lovers of the fashion world, we were excited to see what the stars had to bring to the scene.
A sea of black gowns and outfits greeted us as we perused the sites to feed our greedy eyes and Hollywood brought #MeToo to the Golden Globes and they want everyone to hear them loud.
If you haven't heard of the #MeToo movement, founder Tarana Burke wanted a voice for women who've experienced any form of sexual harassment to have the courage to speak out. Many times, they are suppressed and the incident is buried away.
In wake of sexual misconduct allegations against Harvey Weinstein, stars have then come forward with their own harassment experiences to show women that it is not okay to go through the harassment, and on Jan 1 earlier this year, Time's Up was born. An organisation consisting of 300 women and some of Hollywood's A-list stars such as Shonda Rhimes, Reese Witherspoon, Eva Longoria, Yara Shahidi, and Jessica Chastain was announced to band together and combat workplace sexual harassment and abuse.
Bringing this movement to the Golden Globes, here are the top 10 outfits that spoke volumes:
