After a full month of fasting and reflecting on our choices when it comes to food, it’s important to keep the momentum going.
Eating healthy during this holy month isn’t one of the easiest things to do, I must say. Especially for those of us who are busy working or studying. It’s evident that being cautious of our food intake makes us much more aware of the type of food that supplies a boost of energy, and the rest that simply glues us to the bed all day.
Only less than a week to go until Muslims celebrate eid for the year of 2017 (I know, where did time go?), I’m sure everyone’s expecting to fill up their tummies with nostalgic hearty dishes. Almost every year, a food coma awaits by lunch time. Some times even before! Before a good nap that sums up our month of Ramadhan, the prep that goes into it all matters the most to me. Cooking together with family, baking goodies for guests and making memories that will last forever in our hearts.
