Beauty Breakdown – Lip Edition
Balms, glosses, mattes, oh my! When it comes to lip products, ‘spoilt for choice’ is an understatement. Even if you’re not a full-face kind of girl, we’re willing to bet there’s at least one lip product that strikes your fancy whether it’s a sheer tint, a lightweight ink or a full-on matte stain. To make shopping for your next lippie a little easier, #TeamCLEO tried out three different lip formulations:
Industry-fave Dior Lip Glow, a hydrating tint infused with mango seed butter for soft and kissable pouts. The Lip Glow is available in a range of 10 shades that include matte and holographic/shimmery finishes. Dior Lip Glow is priced at RM120 each.
3INA Lip Vinyl, a lightweight, pigmented gloss that can be worn on its own or as a lip topper. It claims to last all day without that sticky feeling. There are 8 colours within the range. It’s also vegan, cruelty- and paraben-free! 3INA Lip Vinyl is priced at RM66 each.
Lip & Co. Velvet Pout Semi Matte Lipstick, a buildable classic lipstick made with shea butter, coconut oil and vitamin E to keep lips moisturised. Lip & Co. products are cruelty free. There 10 colours altogether and they’re priced at RM49 each.

“I don’t usually gravitate towards lip glosses or anything that’s not matte for that matter. But 3INA Lip Vinyl’s light formula has totally captured my attention. The deep brown nude shade is easy to pair with any makeup look I’m going for and it’s a nice change from the usual pink hues.”

“I’ve been a fan of the Dior Lip Glow for some time now but did not dare to try the Holo range. It took me by surprise at how wear-able it is! The formula resembles a deep hydrating lip balm but with a tint of pink and purple speckles of glitter. A feminine shade for the perfect pout.”
