He is being charged with three counts of criminal breach of trust linked to 1MDB and one charge under the MACC act, according to Kamles Kumar. Lawyer Tan Sri Shafee Abdullah represented the former Prime Minister at court against Attorney General (AG) Tommy Thomas.
Najib Razak has also released an official video upon his arrest that was shared on his social media pages.
