CLEO Hot Bachelors 2018: Bryan John Paulose

Bryan John Paulose is all about the mind. A way to keep him interested is to be able to hold a decent conversation with this dental director. If you are his special someone then you might get the chance to visit the Northern Lights together, after all, that’s on his bucket list.

A person who truly understands you would know that you’re a….

Man who knows who he is, what he wants, and who isn’t afraid to go after it with everything he’s got. My passion for continual improvement leads me to seek out opportunities to gain knowledge and add value to the communities I serve.

Tell us about your proudest achievement?

Being able to do what I’m passionate about every single day. But more recently, finding out that I’m the only Malaysian accepted into the Masters of Aesthetic Dentistry programme at King’s College London this year was pretty neat.

Striped shirt, H&M; denim jacket, Levi’s

Is there anything you’d change about yourself?

My metabolism, so there’d be room for thirds! Food is love.

The way to your heart is through…

The mind. Connection at a mental level is sexy. Everyone should be able to hold their own opinion, and express them confidently without fear of rejection.

Who was your biggest teacher?

John Kennedy – my dad, not the president. From young, he taught me that respect is the foundation in every relationship, and whilst respecting others, we should not lose our inner voice. On the contrary, it’s important to have a discerning mind of your own, and to go with your gut when in doubt. In his words “There are no right or wrong, merely perspectives”.

Better access to healthcare. Good health is essential for sustained levels of productivity and better quality of life among the general population, and everyone should be given access to healthcare facilities. The benefits of good health transcend personal benefit to an upscale one such as national growth.

– On what Bryan would change in this world.

What are the three things every man needs in his closet?

The essential white shirt, a navy blue suit and dark fitting jeans. These provide versatility to transition seamlessly between formal and casual looks.

Tell us what are the top 3 things in your bucket list?

To share a moment with my special someone underneath the Northern Lights; to bring back a souvenir from every country and watch Liverpool play at Anfield with my dad.
