Baz Luhrmann’s no stranger in the world of cinema, especially having directed some of the best-loved films of our time from Moulin Rouge!, William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet, The Great Gatsby, Strictly Ballroom and a Netflix Original TV Series ‘The Get Down’.

When H&M officially announced the fab collab with ERDEM along with the visionary film maker, we were over the moon to get the full preview of what they had in store.

‘The Secret Life Of Flowers’ is an exclusive cinematic short film by visionary Baz Luhrmann to bring the collection alive on-screen with the help of an exclusive new track by Years & Years, “Hypnotised”. The film is set in a dreamy country mansion where it’s always spring time, influenced by ERDEM’s most celebrated floral prints.

“I wanted the film to be like a whole movie. It’s a very modern love story, set in a country house that is full of its own secrets and it’s like a metaphor for our times – it’s harsh out there in the world, but in here, the things that really matter keep growing in an eternal spring,” says Baz Luhrmann.

As a modern love story, the burning passion and drama is fully encapsulated by the appearance of upcoming actors Tom Rhys Harries, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Ruby Dagnall. They are joined by acclaimed actress Harriet Walter and supermodels in the likes of Saskia de Brauw, Imaan Hammam, Grace Hartzel, Fernando Cabral, Neels Visser and Tony Ward. To propel the narrative, each of the character are dressed in various pieces from the soon to be released collection.
