#TeamCLEO’s Top 9 Looks From The 2020 BAFTAs

For this year’s edition of the British Academy Film Awards, BAFTA encouraged its guests to re-wear their old gowns or even rent them (wow, what!?), making sustainability the dress code for the night — as part of the academy’s effort in making a carbon neutral awards ceremony. While celebs continued to dress up to the nines, there were few notable sustainable fashion moments that have taken place: Kate Middleton re-wore a Alexander McQueen Couture dress that she had worn during her visit in Malaysia back in 2012 (!!), the Oscar de la Renta dress that Daisy Ridley wore was made with sustainably sourced and discarded satin fabric was used to make Saoirse Ronan’s Gucci dress.
