We Tried On The New Sloggi Zero Feel Lace And GO Allround Bodywear Collections

If you wear a bra on the daily, you know how liberating it feels to take them off at the end of the day (especially if you usually feel uncomfortable in them). You know you’re wearing the wrong bra or bras that are just not made for comfort if they’re ill-fitting even when you’re wearing the right size — talk about thin skin-digging straps that put a lot of pressure on the shoulders and wires that make you feel suffocated (or even painful) while leaving marks on your skin.

Well, a good bra shouldn’t make you feel all that. Understanding the dilemma that a lot of women face on the daily, Sloggi came through with two new collections of bodywear to give us second-skin comfort — the Zero Feel Lace and GO Allround bras and briefs. Having intimates that feel like second skin sounded so good that we took the opportunity to try on a few pieces ourselves. Keep reading for an honest review on the fit and feel.

Sloggi Zero Feel Lace (V-neck bralette and high waisted brief)

Sloggi Zero Feel Lace V-neck Bralette, RM209 and Briefs, RM69.90

Quality (Rated 7/10)

Created with dot-bonding technology, the lace used for this bralette is durable and won’t break easily. The bralette is wireless and made with a flexible material, so you can machine-wash it on days when you’re just too busy to do your laundry.

Aesthetics (Rated 5/10)

At first sight, the V-neck bralette gave demure and feminine vibes with the scalloping along the edges on the bust. This feature gave an almost seamless effect and didn’t create any awkward spillage, so you could wear it under fitted tops without worrying about unwanted creases or lines. However, the removable padding built into the bralette made my bust seem perkier than it naturally is and that wasn’t my preferred look.

The scalloping feature is also used for the band of the high waisted brief and it helped reduce the appearance of lumps and bumps around my hips and muffin top. It isn’t totally seamless especially if you’re wearing tighter or bodycon bottoms, but the edges smoothed over my cheeks nicely and didn’t dig into my skin.

Feel (Rated 5/10)

When it comes to slipping the bralette on, I found myself having to put in more effort as it was slightly tighter around the band. But once that was done, I liked how it gave a barely-there feeling on the shoulders and more coverage along the sides and back. It provided enough support but the band under the bust tends to bunch (if you’re on the curvier side) and it caused a little discomfort around that area.

On the other hand, the high waisted brief hugged around my hips nicely and provided the coverage I like. The lace material of both the bralette and brief are also light and breathable, perfect for the hot climate.
