Whenever I start getting a little over my head and carried away with juggling workload and trying to keep a social life going, I tend to cherish the time I have in the comfort of my bed more than usual. Without even noticing, amidst chaos I will take a moment to look around and find evidence of what my mind looks in reflection to the mess around me physically.

Waking up and dozing off in a comfortable & clean space always sets me on a positive note. Never underestimate the power of de-cluttering and the power it holds to sustain the feel-good vibes you need to keep sane! With that in mind, here are 5 tips you can implement in your life when designing or cleaning up your sacred chamber:

2. Chic bed sheets

This is based on your eye for design, but obviously your bed is the focal point of your bedroom. Why not take the effort to put on bed sheets that are visually pleasing, especially if it’s colourful and comfy — you’ll definitely look forward to your good night’s rest at the end of every day.

Clean sheets are always the best to sleep in, get into the habit of having a few sheets in rotation when you’re doing laundry. It’s advisable to change it up every 2 weeks or so!
