5 Things You Can Do In Cherating Besides Going To The Beach

Lo and behold, half of the year has flown by and another weekend is upon us. With it, are the tiny bouts of anxiety that hit us every time we glance at our calendar and think to ourselves, “What the hell have I accomplished this month?” It’s never too late to start working on your future though, be it a job offer you’re chasing or a college application you’ve yet to send out (girl, we know the struggle). But if your vision includes taking a chill pill and diving head first into a mini-vacation, then we’re happy to report that we have just the right prescription for you.

When the sun sets and your appetite rears its head again, satisfy your seafood cravings at a restaurant that’ll take 8 minutes from the Hai Peng Kopitiam, and less than one for you to be smitten with. Eating at the Tong Juan Seafood Restaurant is almost like stepping into a time machine. Everything, from the decor to cutlery, in the shop seems to be at least decades old (but still clean and functioning, of course), but the food has never failed to jumpstart my palate alive. You can miss your flight back to KL, but what you can’t miss here is the stuffed crabs they’re famous for.

Stuffed Crab at Tong Juan, Kemaman. • Price: RM9.50 (piece). Rate: 4.5/5. • ??‍?The upper part or the fried white egg ‘skin’ of the stuffed crab is very fluffy and delicious. It makes the stuffed crab really tasty. They stuffed the crab meat to the bream with other ingredients like onions and finely chopped veggies, making it so satisfying for crab lovers out there. It is very reasonably priced too for the amount of crab meat they put in there. ? • #stuffedcrab #stuffedcrabs #crab #crabs #malaysianfood #chinesemalaysianfood #chinesefood #food #chinese #asianfood #asian #stuffedseafood #foodporn #foodemon #foodgasm #tongjuan #kemaman #tongjuanseafood #tongjuankemaman #malaysianfoodreview #foodreview #foodemonfoodreview #friedcrab #friedstuffedcrab
