Ahh, time to #chillax.

Project manager Pamela Choo Reviewers #TeamCLEO

When you live in the city, it’s easy to feel a little overwhelmed with it all (work, social life, gym, repeat). You find yourself struggling to stay present and really wanting to give yourself some time away. Maybe it's constantly one thing after another, and you hardly have space for a little me-time. Or you can’t afford to take off for a long holiday, but your mind and body need a getaway for some self-care that you deserve.

Well, staycations are an amazing way to recharge and there's nothing wrong with carving out time just for that. Rest, relax and take a breather — you’ll feel ready to #bringit after your stay.

Read on for the eight hotels in Malaysia that #TeamCLEO had the opportunity to check out and review. There's just about something for any kind of staycation you've been longing for!

Keen to treat yourself to a comfortable, modern suite but don’t want to spend too much? If you’re on a budget and want to still feel totally luxe, Dorsett Hartamas is a great choice. Here’s what we absolutely loved about this place.

You can rest assured that you’ll have an amazing, quality sleep in the rooms here. The bed was the perfect firmness, and had soft and cushiony pillows. The bathroom was also spacious, well-equipped and super-clean.

As for facilities, Dorsett Hartamas has a rooftop pool where you can enjoy the fantastic view while going for a dip. It’s spacious enough to do a few laps if you’re up to it! Or you could opt to relax instead and get a tan. Don’t want to skimp on your workout during your staycation? There’s also a gym with all your basic equipment.

Food and Drink

The hotel also provides a breakfast buffet that will fuel you up before you start your day. Try their bread pudding, it was our fave! Thai food lovers will also love the fact that the hotel has an amazing Thai restaurant, Imperial Chakri Palace.

In case you needed to get some supplies, Hartamas Shopping Centre is within walking distance and there are also cafes and a mamak nearby the hotel.
