#CLEOTravels: We Reviewed 8 Malaysian Hotels For The Best Staycations

Ahh, time to #chillax.

Project manager Pamela Choo Reviewers #TeamCLEO

When you live in the city, it’s easy to feel a little overwhelmed with it all (work, social life, gym, repeat). You find yourself struggling to stay present and really wanting to give yourself some time away. Maybe it's constantly one thing after another, and you hardly have space for a little me-time. Or you can’t afford to take off for a long holiday, but your mind and body need a getaway for some self-care that you deserve.

Well, staycations are an amazing way to recharge and there's nothing wrong with carving out time just for that. Rest, relax and take a breather — you’ll feel ready to #bringit after your stay.

Read on for the eight hotels in Malaysia that #TeamCLEO had the opportunity to check out and review. There's just about something for any kind of staycation you've been longing for!

The Most Luxe Sleep

Want to get a real sense of the city life in Kuala Lumpur? Four Seasons KL has an amazing location being right in the heart of this beautiful city. The main landmark, KLCC is right across the hotel so it’s really accessible! Robinsons is also connected to the hotel, so you can do all the shopping you want.

Room

The stunning and modern Premier Park View room has a king-sized bed that’s super-comfortable — you won’t want to leave it! Pillows were really soft and there are two tiny pillows on the bed too (the more the merrier). There’s also a huge window overlooking KLCC Park.

The bathroom is so spacious and you won’t be short of space to lay out all your toiletries and make-up products. The bathtub was amazing and the shower room had a Rainfall shower head and an area for you to sit. Also, the toilet was digitalised for the ultimate luxury experience.

Facilities

Bask in the city view while you’re at the swimming pool and use the sufficiently equipped gym to get your daily workout in! If you plan on totally pampering yourself here, go for one of the spa’s treatments like the Rotan Manau Herbal Tungku Massage that focuses on deep tissue treatment, blood circulation and firming the skin.

Food and Drink

You won’t be left hungry here as they have an in-house restaurant, Curate. They serve an array of fusion dishes and the head chef is incredibly passionate as he makes sure you’re happy with your meal. Feel free to choose from Western, Asian and even Arabian cuisines.
