Cheer yourself up with the news that you might be able to witness a pink supermoon here in Malaysia, on 8 April 2020.

Why cheer yourself up? We’re looking at you, RMO. T.T

But if there’s one thing that’s looking up, it’s the rest of the world who are turning their gaze upwards to the heavens.

According to Time And Date, the Super Pink Moon may appear in Malaysia on 8 April 2020 at about 10:35am.

A “supermoon” happens when the full moon coincides with the moon’s closest approach to Earth in its orbit.

Supermoons apparently will make the moon appear a little brighter and closer than normal.

However, the moon itself won’t look pink, but it may appear more golden. That’s due to an effect caused by our atmosphere, similar to how the sun can appear more red as it rises and sets, according to NASA.

But don’t fret if you missed it this morning because you can keep a look out 12 hours later, at 10pm. Let us know if you snap any pics!
