Here’s What You Can Look Forward To At Urbanscapes

There’s no denying that our local arts scene has been booming in the recent years. The public’s appreciation for art has increased immensely.

Urbanscapes is the longest running creative arts festival in Malaysia. Now in its 16th year the festival will spread across three weekends in various parts of the city’s historic core-taking advantage of KL’s glorious cityscape, and complementing it with some creativity.

Here’s what #TeamCLEO is totally looking forward to.

The fresh music acts you have to watch

From international artists like Khalid and Wolf Alice to stars of the local indie scene, the festival has curated a line up that will satisfy everybody’s taste. Over the course of three weeks, there will be plenty of gigs that you can go to- some are even free of charge!

Midnight Fusic

Fresh out of high school, Midnight Fusic is a four-piece alternative indie band. They seamlessly skirt the middle ground between fuzzy, jangly guitar lines with spit-polished indie anthems and rhythms, mixing their influences into their own distinct sound.

Their debut single ‘Heart of May’  was released in September 2017, charted number 1 on the Hitz.FM Met 10 Charts — proving that what they lack in age and experience, they more than make up for in talent, passion, dedication and hard work.
