Hit Follow: Activist Malala Yousafzai Has Now Joined Twitter

On her last day of secondary school, 19-year old Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai celebrated the day by declaring it her first day being active on social media platform, Twitter.

For those who are unfamiliar with the brave young girl we should all look up to, Malala fights for education rights and equality for women and girls. All of her social media profiles; Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are now linked to the Malala Fund – an organisation she founded in order to ensure every girl has a graduation day.

In a blog post where Malala wrote about her last day of school, she wrote:

I promise to ​keep fighting​ until the day that every girl can put on her uniform, pack up her books and walk to school without fear.
