Lady Bird (2017)

Set in 2002, Marion McPherson (Laurie Metcalf), a nurse and mum, works hard to support her family especially when her husband loses his job. It tells the story of a mum and her relationship with her daughter, Lady Bird (Saoirse Ronan). The 17-year-old teenager comes of age in Sacramento, California and the scenes will seem all too familiar.
