P. Diddy Changed His Name To ‘Love A.K.A. Brother Love’ And We’re Confused

Seriously guys, this is another Snoop Lion moment in history.

It goes without saying that artists especially rappers change up their names rather frequently, Snoop Dogg to Snoop Lion, Jay Z to JAY-Z. On that note, celebrity alter egos was all the rage at one point and you’ve probably heard some of these like Beyoncé’s Sasha Fierce and Mariah Carey’s Mimi that they bring on to the stage.

Sean Combs has come a long way up in the American Hip-Hop industry with the iconic stage name P. Diddy that often alternates between Puff Daddy, Puffy or Diddy.

While celebrating his 48th birthday last Saturday on November 4th, he has made it official that he doesn’t want to be referred to anything else other than ‘Love A.K.A. Brother Love’ as mentioned in a recent Twitter post.

Watch the reinvention of P. Diddy below:

“I’m just not who I am before, I’m something different,” said Diddy in the foreground of what looks like paradise. He has made the announcement official and we literally don’t know where this is coming from (???)

Admitting that the choice of name being a little corny, he doesn’t seem to care. But soon after the shocking news appeared a video in an Instagram post by Diddy confirming that his new identity was merely a joke:

He played us and he did it well. Perhaps he partied a little too hard and it brought him a ton of notifications the day after. Regardless, he doesn’t mind being referred to as any of his stage names and even his now alter ego “Brother Love’.
