‘Revenge Body’ Expert Khloe Kardashian Talks RBWK Season 2 And How To Stay Fit While Pregnant
The youngest of the Kardashian sister trio is none other than Khloe Kardashian. Known for her tough as nails attitude on KUWTK since 2007, Koko, as she’s affectionately known, was always a force to be reckoned with. Having been shunned for most of her life by the media for being the “overweight” sister, Koko struggled with weight loss and weight gain throughout the years.
It was only in 2016, after her divorce from Lamar Odom that she turned her life around and got herself on the road to a healthier lifestyle. With her jaw-dropping body transformation, the birth of her own series, Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian was released and now we’re on to Season Two.
With that, we have the exclusive interviews as Koko K. tells us what we can expect in Season Two and how she manages to stay on her fitness regime despite being almost ready to pop.
What can we expect from the second season of Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian?
What you can expect from season two of Revenge Body is an emotional journey, so it’s a mind, body and soul transformation and a lot of tears – but at the end happy tears. We have a lot of celebrity guests, my sister, Kim Kardashian, is on the show, Ashley Graham is on the show and so many talented hair and makeup stylists from all behind Hollywood. So it’s really interesting that you get to see both sides of it all, the glam and the dirty.
Do you have a favourite participant on the show?
It’s hard to have a favourite participant because I do get so invested in everybody, and everyone’s story is so compelling and it means so much to me that people have chosen to be so vulnerable on camera, and raw, and share their stories, so I really appreciate everyone. I will say this season there are people that are on the show for the wrong reasons, they want to get famous or whatever. That really frustrates me and you’re going to see me firing a few people this season.
Is it difficult to stay active now that you are pregnant?
Being pregnant and still trying to stay active during the first trimester was a struggle, but now I am on the second [trimester] it’s kind of a breeze. I enjoy working out and I feel better when I work out. Obviously I can’t workout as intensely as I once did, so I just see how my body feels and my trainer specialises in pregnancy training, and all of that, so I do what I can.
What advice can you give to other expectant mothers who want to stay fit while pregnant?
I think staying active while pregnant, from what my doctor says, is really healthy. It will help with the labour and delivery. At least work out for 30 minutes a day, even if it is just going on a casual walk. I love going on walks with my mum, it’s our little gossip session and you feel really good. I think just keep your body moving because it helps with the swelling, and the back aches, and all that lovely stuff.
