The Most Relevant Tweets To Do With Our PM’s Resignation And Malaysia’s Politics

As reported, our Prime Minister had resigned from his post on the 24th of February. This is the second time Tun Mahathir has held the Prime Minister post after leading Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition to win the 14th general elections on May 9 2018. He was sworn in the next day and took up the position of PM for the second time in his life, stepping down in 2003.

He is currently still the interim Prime Minister at the time of writing.

This came after what was building up for a very intense 48 hours of speculation that Tun Mahathir would lead his political party Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) to exit the ruling coalition Pakatan Harapan and form a new government with new coalition partners, according to The Malay Mail.

Having this happen three months shy of their two-year anniversary in power has caused some confusion and uncertainty among the rakyat. So to speak to all Gen Zs we took to the Twitterverse to find out what people feel about the whole situation.
