Don’t Ask What To Eat Anymore! Here Are 6 MUST-TRY Dishes In Subang
Whenever someone says Subang, I can’t help but wince at the thought of the narrow lanes and competitive parking. It is a sore sight to the eyes but on a positive note, it is also a pretty strong indicator that the place is loaded with good food. The tip is to follow the herd.
Oh, before you go there, keep in mind that you may be overwhelmed by all the choices you can find. Decisions, decisions... If you’re an indecisive person like me and need to spin the wheel to decide what to get for lunch, there’s no need to go through that hassle now. We’ve curated 6 MUST-eat dishes here in Subang -- 6 days of lunch covered!
Korean Fried Chicken didn’t get popular because the K-Wave washed them onto our shores. Anyone who has tried it would know how freakin’ delicious they are and thus setting the bar high for fried chicken chains out there.
Many dwindled because of this but one survived – Nomms! What made them stand out was how their chicken has the crunch of Korean Fried Chicken. Not only that, they also come in many flavours like salted egg and curry mayo. Their spicy fried chicken is the best by the way, hands down.
We have to thank the special technique the chef uses for the extra crunch — frying the chicken in a closed pressure fryer to coat them with the golden crust, while maintaining the natural moisture and flavours from inside. They also never use frozen chicken, which explains why the pieces taste so sweet and fresh.
The prices are very friendly on the wallet too. If you look through the menu, there’s nothing that exceeds RM20 (unless you’re buying a bundle for four). FYI, the sizes of the chicken pieces are quite decent. What a bargain!
