Young And Talented: Here Are Malaysia’s 8 Hottest Athletes To Know

Hard to believe, Year 2020 is NEXT year! We’ve been stretching our necks waiting for its arrival, but knowing that it will be coming in just a few more months is insane! If you’re like us, you’d remember counting how old you’d be in primary school and daydreaming of what Malaysia would look like when the day comes.

It’s a little different from what we expected since Wawasan 2020 won’t be happening anytime soon, but there’s still one thing to look forward to – the Tokyo Olympics. Woohoo! Now the tricky question comes: do you even know who our fellow Malaysian athletes are? With Merdeka around the corner, we think it’s good timing to know a few of them. Even if sports not ya thing, their good looks still make a good reason to support them, no?

Holy! How can one look so dashing even when holding a mop? We swear! It’s not just us who think this way. His impressive performance as a janitor garnered him seventh place in the 2018 Skate America overall.

That’s quite an achievement for a young chap like him. Aged 22, he is also the FIRST man to bring home a GOLD medal from the Southeast Asian Games in KL. We think his early days spending in the ice-skating rink at Sunway Pyramid made him into the man he is today. The teacher who taught and introduced him to the sport? – His mother, former deputy president of the Ice Skating Association of Malaysia (2012-2014).
